Long days…
First of all, boredom sometimes makes you do nifty things, like making this:
Last couple of days have been electrical rough-ins for solar. This means we lay down the bare bones of the electrical and data wiring. Being the genius that I am. I locked myself out, worked on the site till about 1:30am, then realized I had no keys… So I can’t get into my apartment, it’s 2:00am… and I need to get in some sleep before going back to the site at 7:00am… ><
So I bum out a couch at a friends place. While waiting for him to pick me up, I saw this outside…
Somewhere around 3:00am, his roommates barge in and one of the guys goes “HOLY SHIT! WHO IS THIS GUY ON OUR COUCH!? THERE’S SOME GUY ON OUR COUCH…” I didn’t really bother getting up. My friend came in and explained and I just continued lying down.
6:20am, I am woken up by friend as I had asked him. A little stop at starbucks to get a coffee and a muffin and on the site at 7:00am. I built a wall today! It was pretty fun. I was hammering nails in pretty well and some people said I was doing a good job… it felt good 
Now its about 15 hours later. Have to go back out there at 7:00am… and need to work on the software side of things for smart-house… Oh well. Someday, I am just going to become an electrician or a carpenter…
On the good side of things, I did get back my keys and they weren’t like lost or anything… which would have sucked like 10 days before I move to the new house…
Well… time to work on more solar… yay.
