The following are a few useful resources I’ve come across and used while building Sparkplug. Hopefully they will reduce your research time / help you out with getting some cheap parts!

This place is quite good for used parts for karts. I haven’t really asked any information based questions on there yet, but it looks like a lively community for that too. - DIY Electric Car Forums
Another good resource for used parts. This site mostly deals with EVs such as converted sedans/trucks etc. But they have lots of parts that are common with a project like mine. There is also a very active helpful community who have helped with information about motors, batteries etc. Lots of experience to learn from here.
